When I turned 23, I created this blog to share my travel stories with my friends and family. Just 2 years later, I have almost 7,000 readers from over 120 different countries annually. Amazing!

These days, I live in Burlington, VT, however I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. I take every chance I get to go on another adventure. Thus far, I have traveled to 20-something countries across 5 continents.

Before starting this blog, I graduated University with a BA in Philosophy and Animal Ecology and a certificate in Pre-Medical Studies. I am currently a PhD student studying Neuroscience at the University of Vermont. My professional page is http://www.brittanydfair.com

This blog is about adventures, failures and the unexpected turns of life. ~B

    • Hey thanks Gretta! I really appreciate the support 🙂 I enjoy reading your blog as well. Look out for some recognition/thanks once I have a proper working computer.

  3. Hi there! I came across your blog from researching the Alouatta Sanctuary. I’m considering doing a short internship there for 2/3 weeks in December & I’m curious if you’d recommend it! Are there any other suggestions you have for the Central or South America area? Thanks!

  4. Hello Brittany. My name is Nikolai, i am helping out marketing agency to find bloggers suitable for their campaigns, and your blog looks like a perfect fit for what they’re looking for.

Do you think you could be interested in receiving offers about advertisement on your website?

  5. Hi Brittany!

I am currently doing some research about Coco Solo because in 3 weeks I am moving to Panama to work with Cambio Creativo! By coincidence your blog came up and I read it just to see your life in Panama, not knowing you actually volunteered with CC! Amazing, anyways I am about to start blogging too if we follow each other it could be cool but more so I would love to hear some insight about your living experience there and the people! I will be living in Portobelo so I will be commuting, but in hopes of creating some infrastructure and housing in the community I might live there as well. ( Got to get some running water and electricity) That is my goal for them! I know it will be hard, but I have been doing a lot of work with “healthy housing” practice and I hope to bust my butt and work really hard to do help! Would love to chat, feel free to email me!
